London’s leading dance venues are uniting to bring British Dance Edition to the capital in 2012.
British Dance Edition is the UK dance industry’s leading showcase event, profiling the very best of British dance to promoters and producers from the UK and across the globe. The event is an initiative of the National Dance Network and takes place biennially in different UK cities.
British Dance Edition 2012 is produced by a consortium of eight of London’s leading dance organisations:
For the first time the showcase presents a fully currated programme of work that has grown out of the consortium’s ongoing development work with artists and in consultation with the National Dance Network and other key producers. In addition to a broad programme of dance there are opportunities to meet the artists, discuss the work and engage with other promoters. There is a small trade fair taking place alongside the performance programme.
