When no auditions are listed and you are interested in dancing for Richard Alston Dance Company, the first step is to be invited to join company class at The Place. Space is strictly limited and the class is taught at advanced level. You will be asked to specify your training/performing experience before being invited to join. Apprenticeships
The company participates in an apprenticeship scheme run in collaboration with London Contemporary Dance School, under the Postgraduate Department's Performance Studies programme. Applications for the 2009/10 apprenticeship have now closed. There are more details of the apprenticeship programme on London Contemporary Dance School's website.
Company Class
It is possible for a small number of guests to join the company in class at The Place. Space is strictly limited and the class is taught at advanced level. You will be asked to specify your training/performing experience before being invited to join.
