The Place is presenting two performances as part of the line-up for The Dance Show at Birmingham's NEC from Fri 3 - Sun 5 December.
The Dance Show is a new exhibition which runs alongside the popular Clothers Show Live at the NEC. The centre stage programme at the heart of the exhibition includes performances by So You Think You Can Dance winner Charlie Bruce and Britain's Got Talent stars Flawless, plus The Place's own Richard Alston Dance Company and a special performance by former students of our Centre for Advanced Training.
On Fri 3 December, Richard Alston Dance Company will perform extracts from Blow Over, Richard Alston's exhilarating 2008 work set to Philip Glass's Songs from Liquid Days.
On Sat 4 December, the Centre for Advanced Training presents Fragment 3, a work made earlier this year by graduating LCDS student James Cousins, performed by three recent CAT students: PJ Hurst, Gabbi Solano, and Kinga Jaczewska.
Tickets for The Dance Show (including entry to the Clothes Show Live) are available from The Dance Show website or by calling 0844 581 1256.
