Essential Alston will be delivering an INSET day on Sunday 29 August for teachers covering Overdrive at GCSE.
The day will begin with a Cunningham class, including warm up ideas to introduce students to the style of the company.
The session will offer an opportunity to learn sections of Overdrive, with motifs that can be used for contact work. We will explore ideas for creative choreographic tasks and time for discussion and sharing ideas. The session will be filmed to provide a DVD that can be used as a tool for lesson planning.
