Darren Ellis Dance debuted in 2007 with Romeo Error, a trio for two dancers and an actor. Darren has since made Good to Go and a solo work Sticks and Bones, which was performed in The Place's recent Spring Loaded season. He has also made two pieces for Richard Alston Dance Company (Tempt My Better Angel and No more ghosts) as well as numerous works for youth groups and student companies, including Intoto and EDge.

From the waist up (working title)
Darren is creating a solo on himself based on the theme of censorship. He will be collaborating with writer Rick Bland and composer Russell Pay to create a work that explores freedom of speech and the freedom to move.
