Tom Dale grew up during an exciting time of music experimentation. The 90s witnessed a massive explosion in the independent production and consumption of electronic music, the innovative culture and artists that this produced encouraged him to seek out a career as a dancer/choreographer.

Tom trained at Laban where he qualified with a degree and won the Centre’s award for outstanding achievement in choreography in 1998, whilst he choreographed a solo eddystone raver that was screened on BBC2. Since training Tom has been developing his own work and company alongside working with a number of other choreographers including Fin Walker, Jochen Heckman, Barak Marshall, Philipe Giradeau, Tom Roden and Matthew Bourne (Swan Lake).

Tom has created work since 2001 presenting it in venues in London and around the UK, his company suba rossa has recently finished touring two new works I infinite and Dual.
