Lucy Suggate is a choreographer and performer based in Leeds, after graduating with BA hons in contemporary dance from De Montfort University, Leicester. Lucy founded Ruby Dance as a vehicle for her unique visual style. Since its inception Ruby Dance has created many pieces of dance theatre for audiences in the UK, more recently joining forces with the formidable David Toole for performances in Ireland and New York. Lucy’s work aims to be intoxicating and humorous, toying with the ordinary becoming extraordinary.
