Frederick Opuku-Addaie started dancing through East London Dance workshops and The Place community projects, working with companies such as Random Dance, V-Tol, Saburo Teshiguara/ Karas. He graduated from LCDS in 2002, having had the opportunity to work with choreographers such as Lea Anderson and Jonzi D.
Freddie was an apprentice with Random Dance from 2003-04 and danced in the Children’s project Alpha. He choreographed and performed in Random Dancers AWOL at The Place in 2004. Since then he has worked as a freelance dancer for various artists including Thomas Small/Smallpetitkein Dance, Rashpal Singh Bansal/ United Dance Artists, a commercial with Bailey’s and dance promos. In 2005 Freddie was commissioned by The Place to make Little Things for the White Christmas season.
