Alex Broadie graduated from London Contemporary Dance School in 2005, and has been making dance professionally since 2004 for youth groups in London and Cambridgeshire, including for The Place’s youth dance company Shift. Alex’s work for his own company MWAG (Mother Wanted a Girl) has been a finalist at Burgos Contemporary Dance Competition and will be touring Spain in 2006.

Other commissions include the London Open House event at The Place, Resolution!, Three Minute Moments (a film for All enQuiries Productions) and It’s Just Business, Nothing Personal, a Leche Commission for EDge’s 2006 touring repertoire.

Alex plans to continue his studies next year, and is currently teaching A-Level Dance and Performance Studies in Cambridgeshire.
