Genevieve Watson was born in Buckinghamshire, England and trained at The Royal Academy of Dance, Battersea, followed by The Arts Educational School, Tring Park. She then went on to complete a BA (Hons) Degree at London Contemporary Dance School. In 2008, Genevieve worked with Fish In A Bowl Dance Company as part of Artelier and worked with Frauke Requardt for the Back To The Front Gala at Sadler’s Wells in 2007. During her time at LCDS she worked with Marc Brew, Sasha Roubicek, Jan De Schynkel and Anna Williams and performed works by Merce Cunningham and Siobhan Davies. She also enjoys teaching and has taught on the Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) scheme at The Place since September 2007. Genevieve joined the Richard Alston Dance Company as an apprentice dancer in 2009.
