Following the last of the four semi-final performances this evening, the first Place Prize finalist has been selected by audience vote.
Aletta Collins's Lap Dancer (pictured) is the most popular work in The Place Prize 2008 as voted by our audience, with an average score of 4.12 (out of five).
Aletta's work appeared in the first Place Prize semi-final, and now progresses to the finals beginning on Wednesday 17 September.
The most popular work in the second semi-final programme was Victoria Fox's Human Shadows, scoring an average of 3.56.
The most popular from the third semi-final was Dam Van Huynh's Collision, with an average score of 3.59.
The most popular work in the fourth semi-final was Ben Wright's This Moment is Your Life, scoring an average of 3.43.
