ABOUT ANNA
A dancer, choreographer and teacher, Anna Williams graduated from London Contemporary Dance School and went on to perform with Ricochet Dance Company for nine years. She has worked with Random Dance, Russell Maliphant, Aletta Collins and New Art Club and continues to perform a solo show by Nik Haffner titled Unaccompanied and with Two Dancers, which she co-directs. Anna's choreography includes a dance-theatre collaboration with The Gate Theatre London called I am Falling, Sometimes you See Them Shaking Slightly for Edge, The Thought that Counts for Theatre-Rites at The Barbican and Orfeo and Euridyce for the Ryedale Music Festival.
ABOUT THE WORK
Two women meet in a place to dance a duet. They pull, stab, grasp, push, flail and catch. And one of them keeps disappearing. This duet is made with and danced by Petra Soor and Hannah Shepherd, and with lighting design by Sarah Gilmartin.

WHERE YOU CAN SEE HER NEXT
Clearing has been selected as a finalist for The Place Prize, and will be performed nightly from Wed 17 - Sat 27 September (excluding Sun 21 Sept). I Am Falling returns for a 10-day run at Sadler's Wells from 29 October. Anna also performs Unaccompanied in Frankfurt in December of this year and in Hamburg in February 2009.
