Fun and informal classes for those with up to two years' dance experience. You will develop ability and confidence at your own pace under the guidance of Charlotte Eatock who will lead you through a Cunningham-based class.

Teacher's Biography

Charlotte graduated from London Studio Centre and went on to perform with Henri Oguike Dance Company from 2003 to 2006 as well as with Jazzxchange, Akademi and Bimba Dance Thatre.  She has choreographed for National Youth Dance Wales, London Studio Centre's Dance Overture and The Point as well as for The Place's Resolution! seasons in 2004 and 2008.  In 2006, she was commissioned to create a piece for the National Youth Festival in London which was performed at the National Gallery, and in 2007 she worked with Didi Veldman on a production of Peter and the Wolf in Amsterdam.  Charlotte has also created two short films - Kate Lunn and Music Box - which were shown at the London International Dance Film Festival 2007, and she choreographed and appeared in The Beta Band's 2002 music video Human Being.

Charlotte Eatock and Rachael Mossom's new piece has been chosen as one of the twenty commissions competing in this year's Place Prize, sponsored by Bloomberg. Inspired by real stories from everyday people, alongside caricatures and tall tales, the piece features five professional performers with sections of film and voice by non-performers set to music created in collaboration with Pete Denton.
