ABOUT VICTORIA
Victoria Fox graduated from Laban Centre, London.  She went on to perform and tour internationally with Silesian Dance Theatre (Poland) and Kompany Nikita.  She won 2nd prize in the Kalisz International Choreographic Festival.  Victoria returned to the UK to dance with CandoCo Dance Company, performing in work by Fin Walker and Athina Valha.  She's also danced with Jasmin Vardimon Company and has trained with Andre Gingras in Holland.  She is currently Artistic Director of Underground7, a dance theatre company based in Brighton of which she is also a founder member.

ABOUT THE WORK
Human Shadows is a high powered, visceral piece for five dancers exploring human instincts of survival, power dependency and personal fears.  Two couples and a shadow, whose lives are entangled and interconnected, try to make sense of their relationships and of themselves through unresolved encounters.  The piece features performers Welly O'Brien, Jason Keenan-Smith, Aneta Szydlak, Marek Zawalski and Victoria Fox.

Victoria was The Lawyer in Jasmin Vardimon Company's Justitia at British Dance Edition.  She also performed On the Edge, in the Shadow with her own company, Undergroud7, in this year's Resolution! 

WHERE YOU CAN SEE HER NEXT
Victoria regularly teaches classes in Brighton as well as in London at Laban and at The Place.  She will also be giving a workshop at the Silesian Dance Theatre Festival in Poland from 5-13 July.  On 30 July her company will have its Brighton launch in an evening of performance and discussion entitled Introducing Underground7,  part of South East Dance Artist Updates.
