The Place

The taster day will consist of a practical ballet, contemporary & creative session.  You will also attend an information talk about the programme including finance and fees, a Q&A session, and a tour of the building.  The sessions normally last approx 3 hours. 

There is a cafe at The Place which is open all day where you can get lunch, tea and coffee and other refreshments.

Taster Sessions are free but we ask that you make a donation to our Fund For Excellence. 

The CAT management team recognise that whilst every penny of student's fees is invested in the delivery of the CAT training programme, the fees remain high and can pose a difficult dilemma for many families who have several children and other important financial commitments. 
The Fund for Excellence was set up in 2009 to provide some extra funding for eligible students enrolled on the CAT programme.  Due to the charitable nature of this fund, monies available are dependent on money raised through fundraising and donations therefore, all monies raised from the Taster Days will go directly into the Fund for Excellence.
