The performance specialisation is designed for students who have graduated from vocational training programmes and are ready to explore their individual potential further by developing their experience and understanding of performance.

Through greater focus on the processes of devising work and/or rehearsing repertoire, followed by performances in a variety of venues, students will have the opportunity to explore and research technical and artistic skills.

There are two possible paths of study:

Dance Company Apprenticeship
Performance students may choose to apply for a Postgraduate Apprenticeship, developing their skills as performers through placements within professional companies. Apprentices spend the majority of the year with the host companies and complete their academic work by correspondence, with regular feedback from the Head of Postgraduate Studies.
