ABOUT COLIN
Colin Poole is a born and bred Londoner. Notably, his dance history includes Phoenix and Rambert Dance companies. As a choreographer he has resided as an associate artist The Place and Royal Opera House. He has participated in research labs with The Place (Guy Cools, Yasmeen Godder) and Colina 2006 (Rui Horta). His latest appearances have been for British Council's UKmoves in Lille and British Dance Edition Liverpool 2008. His latest international touring includes Spain, Cyprus, France and Italy. Currently he is touring two solo works The Box Office and Joyride.

ABOUT THE WORK
Amor Fati (working title) will be a solo danced by Colin exploring the Nietzchean theme of fate. The piece will be an artistic collaboration of light provided by collaborator Chahine Yavyoran, set, speech and sound.

WHERE YOU'VE SEEN HIM
Colin was a member of Rambert Dance from 1989 to 1993.  His solo Joyride was first performed at The Place's Touch Wood season in September 2007, and subsequently in May as part of Spring Loaded.
