The Postgraduate Department offers a new specialisation within the Postgraduate Diploma leading to Master of Arts in Contemporary Dance.
The Advanced Dance Studies programme offers students a choice of modules from the following areas:
- Advanced Technical Training
- Choreography
- Training & Education
Core courses will continue to be shared with students on the Performance, Choreography and Dance Training and Education specialisms, providing an opportunity to share in debate, reflection and practice-based research within a larger cohort of students with varied interests.
Each programme of work will be tailored to suit individual needs. On application, students should clarify their area of particular interest, together with an indication of other courses that they might like to pursue from the options above.
Entrance requirements
First or Upper Second BA degree in dance or related subject or substantial professional experience. Technical skill, motivation and aptitude for this high level of intensive practical and academic training.
