ABOUT ROBIN
A New Zealand native, Robin Dingemans has been based in the UK since 1997. He has worked as a dancer and performer for an extremely diverse array of projects and artists throughout New Zealand and Europe including Royal New Zealand Ballet, DV8 Physical Theatre, Ricochet, Protein Dance, Rosemary Lee, Arthur Pita, Fin Walker, Maresa Von Stockert, Mark Baldwin, Aletta Collins and Mark Morris. Robin has collaborated with architect Alex Haw, director Ewelina Kolaczek, live art group Switch and various youth projects.
ABOUT THE WORK
"My piece is a duet featuring Joanne Fong and Delphine Gaborit that will use dance, light, text and sound in a 15 minute sensorial kidnapping. The piece will not merely be a hedonistic intoxification of the senses but an engaging heightening of them."

Robin was one of the 20 commissioned artists for The Place Prize 2004. Me + You = Five, a duet for Robin and Joanne Fong, was presented at The Place in April as part of Spring Loaded

Robin is taking part in Choreoroam, an international research project jointly organised by The Place, Operaestate Festival Veneto and Dansateliers.
