174 artists submitted entries for The Place Prize 2008, sponsored by Bloomberg.
Each entrant submitted a 3 minute video outlining their idea for a new dance work to compete for The Place Prize.

The process of selecting 20 artists from all these entries to be commissioned to make their work and compete for The Place Prize in September has now been completed. The names of these artists will be announced on Wednesday 2 April.
