Higher education funding is changing in 2012. London Contemporary Dance School, as an affiliate of the Conservatoire for Dance and Drama, has a new fee structure for undergraduate students and a new scholarship scheme to offer financial support.

The changes to funding means that we have had to increase fees in order to continue to offer our world-class level of training and facilities. Fees for many new students will rise to £9,000 per year, though eligible UK and EU students will not have to pay fees up front or start re-paying loans until they earn over £21,000 per year.

Students who have begun their courses before September 2012 will not be affected, and will continue to pay fees at their current level.

Our programmes remain subsidised, and we have also put in place an extensive financial support package to ensure that we continue to admit the most talented students, irrespective of background. Students will be eligible for financial support as an undergraduate whether they are starting a course for the first time, or have a degree already.

Financial status will not affect how we view applicants to London Contemporary Dance School, and we are committed to recruiting students solely on the bases of talent and potential to benefit from training at London Contemporary Dance School.

A booklet is available to download with details of fees and financial support for Conservatoire for Dance and Drama students, and there are more details on this website, and the Conservatoire website.
