James Pett trained as a gymnast for ten years before joining Laban, graduating with a First in Dance Theatre in 2011. In 2009 he performed in UNDERDROME, choreographed by Darren Johnston, and with Gill Clark. In 2010 he worked with Patricia Lent on Merce Cunningham’s SCRAMBLE, and in 2011 with Kerry Nicholls on a collaborative piece with Meridian Brass, AVE MARIS STELLA. James joined Richard Alston Dance Company as an Apprentice in 2011.
